*Parents of the above finalists will receive a phone call on Monday, September 15th from 6pm to 8pm at the number provided on the entry form. Each finalist's participation must be confirmed by speaking to a Honolulu Chinese Jaycees or Meadow Gold representative by 12 noon on Wednesday, September 17. If confirmation is not received by this time, the child will no longer be eligible for the Top 50 and the finalist with the next highest score will be contacted.

Enter your child in the 55th Annual Meadow Gold Healthy Baby Contest for a chance to win prizes, including a $2,500 U.S. Savings Bond for the first-place winner!

Meadow Gold Dairies’ Annual Healthy Baby Contest has been an Island tradition since 1953. The Healthy Baby Contest gives proud parents the opportunity to showcase their healthy keiki in a setting that promotes health and nutrition. The Healthy Baby Contest is sponsored by Meadow Gold and coordinated by the Honolulu Chinese Jaycees.

The toddlers are judged on physical appearance, healthiness and personality, with each category scored on a 25-point scale. The five place winners are awarded a U.S. savings bond ranging from $2,500 to $500 as well as numerous toys and prizes from Meadow Gold Dairies of Hawaii.

Entry deadline is Friday, August 22, 2008 by 11:59 PM.

Contest Dates

Preliminary Rounds:	September 6	-	Pearlridge Center, Downtown
	September 13	-	Ala Moana’s Centerstage

Finals:	September 20	-	Ala Moana’s Centerstage

Registration for this year’s Healthy Baby Contest will start on Monday, June 30.

General Rules

Contestant’s birth date must be on or between December 9, 2005 and January 9, 2007. Contestants of both sexes and all ethnic origins and nationalities are eligible to enter the contest. Preliminary contestants must be residents of Oahu. Children of the members of the Honolulu Chinese Jaycees and employees of Meadow Gold Dairies of Hawaii and first place winners of previous Meadow Gold Healthy Baby Contests statewide are not eligible to enter the contest.
